Neil M. Geitner, P.E.

 

Mr. Geitner is Manager of GEM. Mr. Geitner has over 30 years of experience in water resources; water, wastewater & storm water utilities; environmental engineering; economic analyses; and hazardous waste management.  His responsibilities include project management; technical review; water quality analyses; economic studies; wastewater treatment studies and design; environmental permitting; hazardous waste management; client and regulatory agency liaison.

 

Mr. Geitner has experience with remedial investigation and feasibility studies for CERCLA sites, interim water supply systems, mine waste characterization, remedial measures for water quality, storm water permitting and management, pilot studies, preliminary design and startup of wastewater treatment facilities, ASTM 1527-05 environmental site assessments, environmental impact studies, litigation support for remediation planning, water quality and flood encroachment cases.  Mr. Geitner formed storm water utilities; designed structures; and has analyzed rates and rate structures.  He was a lead economist for Phase I Air Force privatization analyses.

Jennifer E. Day, P.E.

 

Ms. Day is a project engineer at GEM.  She has over 18 years of experience in subsurface investigations, geological and hydrological assessments for commercial and industrial site development, hazardous waste site remediation, underground storage tanks, and environmental site assessments.  Her responsibilities include project management, collection and management of data, report preparation, environmental permitting, construction oversight management, client and regulatory agency liaison.

 

Ms. Day has experience with RCRA corrective action and ground-water assessment programs, NPDES permit applications and management, subsurface investigations, ASTM E 1527-05 environmental site assessments, industrial environmental compliance audits, asbestos building inspections, CERCLA investigations and remediation projects, surface-water and groundwater modeling, database management, and risk analysis.
